This fire door seal has a single sealing blade on one edge, and is supplied with self-adhesive backing tape. This seal is an ideal retrofit fire & smoke solution for sealing perimeters of Proprietary 1 hour fire doors.
Addition of a fire door seal and smoke door seals to a door assembly is a proven method to improve safety. Also reduces noise & assists in saving lives. This seal system KG1612BW restricts the passage of the cool and medium temperature smoke generated in the early stages of a fire.
